Estate Grown Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Could reasonably blind this as a very good Cote de Nuits. Very satisfying.

We had the 2018 Vintage on 10/6-7/23. Black cherry and blackberry on the bouquet. Same flavors on the palate. The most striking feature is the velvety mouthfeel. Smooth texture, fruit forward, but still medium bodied. One of the better wines from Moshin. What this did not have is the sassafras and cola tastes.

We had the 2017 Vintage on 7/26-27/23. The wine is a classic RRV PN. Medium bodied, fruit forward, well balanced with a nice mouth feel. Tastes of tart red cherry, candied apples, cola and sassafras. A good wine from Moshin

We had the 2014 Vintage on 5/24-25/22. An excellent RRV PN. Comparing my notes from 12/16, the wine has more darker tones——in a good way. Black cherry and cardomom on the bouquet. Black cherry and even plum on the palate with oak and mild spice. Medium bodied, well balanced wine. Real good. 2014 was the year we visited.

We had the 207 Vintage on 4/15-16/21. A classic RRV with a silky mouth feel. Tastes of tart cherry, pomegranate and minerality. Good wine for sure.

High acid, tart red fruit, lacks earth component.

Great complexity kept this one very interesting.

We had the 2014 Estate PN on 12/24/16. Black cherry and candied red fruits on the bouquet and palate. Just enough spice on the smooth finish. Very good and would buy more.

We had the 2010 Estate Grown Pinot Noir between 12/15-17/15. Nice nose. Tastes of strawberry, clove and some spice. Medium bodied wine with a good finish.
