Wow. Grippy and firm with a sanguine quality peaking out from beneath a layer of dark fruit. Stony earth-laden acidity balances out the somewhat rigid structure. It's all here, but this would surely still benefit from a few more years in the cellar. Again, wow.

Don’t know the vintage as label left the bottle. Lovely soft dark fruit. Gnarly blue stuff, very savory forest floor. Lucious but good definition. Really nice wine. My guess would we late 70’s or early 80’s. Delicious.

One of the best 88 chambertin I have had - almost Rousseau. The climax was never ending - all the way to the end after 1.5 hours. Not OB. LOL
