Pizza wine! I drank this alongside the Ciacci Piccolomini RdM from the same vintage. I thought this was good but a touch thin and fell short of the former. Still, a great value and an honest wine.

Mocali's 2016 Rosso di Montalcino is soft and easygoing, with pretty dark cherry, mint, leather, spice and tobacco flavors. This fruity, open-knit Rosso is best enjoyed over the next handful of years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2019)

Red cherry, tart raspberry, cinnamon, nutmeg, slightly savory, licorice on the nose, slightly Brett, and flint, med plus tannin and acidity. Love the delicate oak note on the nose. Great entry level wine from Mocali.

Cherry, strawberry and raspberry notes. Floral notes as well. Nice acidity to match perfectly with a Bolognese.

Вяленые и сушеные красные ягоды, ваниль, дуб, красные ягоды. Вкус полный, танины чуть суховатые. 15.5/20 (87/100)

This is one of those rare values that delivers a wine two or three times the asking price. I would easily pay $50+ for this but i only paid around 20. Amazing rose petal on the high notes and reduced balsamic in the mid palate with delicious cherry throughout. This is young and could age several years without a doubt.
