Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese** Mosel Riesling

White Capsule. Gorgeous wine. So so fine. So refined. Long finish.

White Cap. Stunning. Magic. Nose of slate, lime zest, lime blossom, herbs and just so airy and expansive. A 9.7 nose. Zeltinger Sonnenuhr sweet tart. Palate is expansive and incisive with terrific lime and apple fruit and sweetness from the ripe fruit but not the RS which seems like 3-5 grams p/l. So juicy and invigorating. A brilliant wine. I love love Molitor so much.

Fresh sliced fennel, carrots and some yellow stone fruits on the nose. A bit short on the palate, miss the acidity.

Nose: airy. Mineral.

Palate: mineral. Green apple. Not particularly dense. Well done.

Corked 🙁

Rich and dry but sweet where you want it. A lot going on here, each sip different than the previous.

I could just sit and smell this: grapefruit, fennel, fennel pollen, soft yeast, herbs, cucumber, wet stone, loads of minerality....subtle and fantastically complex. On the palate: fantastic acidity, sweet grapefruit, lime, crushed flowers, roasted fennel, fantastic minerality and excellent density and a lovely finish. Stunning.

Dry, complex and delicious with dumplings. 11.5%.

Green Kap feinherb

Drank over several days. Quite good.
