Italian themed, pizza +wine night! 2013 drinking in 2020. Second time with this after my first was a dud several months ago. This one is superb. Lots of acidity and fruit with balanced oak integration and notes of cherry vanilla plum black cherry and chocolate

Black cherry, blackberry. Tea. Earth - leaves. Graphite, just a little. Medium bodied and not overwhelmingly dry. Very plush tannins. Well-rounded finish.

After experiencing the '12 in Rome last week, I found the '13 at Cardiff SSM. Very nice, slightly less well integrated than the '12. These wines are excellent with food, I am learning to appreciate medium bodied wines for their ability to pair well with so many dishes.

My favourite rufina... but that's not saying much. I'm so much more partial to the Classico region. This one goes down easily and has nice flavour, but it won't take your breath away.

Light cherry, earthy nut and a bit of spice with light tannins make this soft, well rounded wine a delight with mushroom agnolotti and medium rare flank steak. This selection is at it peak and fruit forward. Decant for 20 minutes and enjoy!

Very nice 🍇 Sangiovede blend. Good nose, black cherry, blackberry, nice structure, medium bodied, nice tannins and finish. Elegant! 👌

Brought it to Dad's place for dinner. Tony cooked Crab bee hoon. Lil enjoyed it (the wine) I thought it was a little sour. But after it breathed some it wasn't too bad.
