An Old World wine. I found the 2011 not as smooth as the 2009 but improves as it breathes. Not complex but at this price point does it have to be. Definite taste of tannins. A wine to have with meals.

Such a serviceable wine. Leather, spice cupboard, cherry, dutch liquorice, rosemary and slight florals. Palate doesn't set the world alight but drunk alongside some pizza and you'd be kicking goals

Bright ruby red color with purple highlights. The nose is full of fresh cherry and plums with hints of fragrant red flowers and bright orange zest. Cherry and plum on the pallet with notes of dark cocoa, tomato leaf, spices and tobacco. Medium but pleasant finish. Bright and lively (just a baby) with loads of acidity and very soft tannins (for such a young wine).

Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with oak and herbs notes. Tannins are firm, medium finish ending with savory earthy character. Drink now, no aging benefit.
