Effervescent cherry cola, in a good way. Easy drinking, mineral/acidity with rhubarb and a splash of anise liqueur. CM

Piedmont wine tasting: light straw with water rim, slight petulance • freshly cut grass, lime, lees, white flowers • medium body, medium acidity, lime, white peach, wet gravel, 12.5% ABV • made from 100% Arneis grown in calcareous clay, fermented and aged 6 months in stainless steel

Tobacco, citrus rind, brine, wheat.

Very floral with grapefruit and peach aromas, tropical fruit notes showing up on the mid palate. Delicate, polished and showing subtle spice and a slight nuttiness in texture. Very pretty wine with tons of class.

Hard to give a real review as this bottle was all but dead. Disappointing but expected from 2009.

Slightly tired. Dried fruit, some leather. Shorter finish. Meh

Needs time, but great bones for a polished, distinctive white.

Ok, it's old & a tiny bit oxidized, but only enough to add interest. After all, we like orange wine, right?

Don’t serve this too chilled or you’ll miss out! Once it warmed up, I got very pretty floral, citrus and yeasty aromas, followed by some super tangy acidity on the palate and delicate almond skin. So yummy!

Grapefruit, apricot and almonds with a hint of herb, possibly sage and dandelion. Warm wrap around bright and tawny core.
