Have never warmed to these Bichots. Gave it 45min decant. Perfectly nice, well rounded, yet boring. Sort of austere, acidic. Over the hill, lost its fruit? Much prefer the other Morgon beaujs

Cherry liqueur, mushroom/meat secondary, comes together nicely with acidity driving it through. Not old by any means but would be even more enjoyable a year or two earlier in age

It takes at least 3/4 hours for it to open. It then offers incredible freshness, rich and deep tannins, supported by an incredible aromatic range: strawberry, redcurrant, rose jam, dried peony, pot pourri. Undergrowth, musk, leather, truffle, morello cherry, etc. You could think of a Burgundian Pinot. Delicious
