Ok Delectable friends, I’m throwing a party for 150 people and need a white wine under $20. Gotta be a tame crowd pleaser, easily purchased in California. Skip the big oak or big vanilla type Chardonnay. Tried this and it’s ok, but what else should I taste???

Very pleasant Chablis. Crisp, and great pairing with escargots and scallops. This is the way Chardonnay should taste. Diametrically opposed to the oak bombs from CA. Need to explore more Chablis.

Light melon nose, green apple attack, touch of minerality simple, clean, honest, sappy acidity. Excellent value and great introduction to Chablis and stainless/inox Chard.
