Vintage 2010 | 3/4 transparant, awesome bouquet: red berries, cherries, leather, espresso, rosemary. After aeration the smell is like a peacock tail, beautiful expressions, multi layered. Powerful taste with a hint of almond bitters, lots of potential. Beautiful Sangiovese. Paired with risotto al funghi and parmiggiano.

The nose screams Southern Italian. Ripe red fruits and a load of spice like cinnamon and cardamom and all sorts of floral bouquet. 9 years old. Tasting beautiful.

Another visit to this fantastic value wine, my old tasting note holds, with a prolonged drinking window. This wine is very well balanced and was already enjoyable with no decanting which is great :-) it has deep red color, on the nose a festival of black fruits, cherry, raisins, chocolate, with a touch of spices such as cinnamon and sweet paprika, the body is full rich round and balanced with sweet acidity, and a lingering finish. My score 89, drink to 2018
