Dec 10th, 2021Intense ruby in color with a fine garnet at the rim. An expressive nose with intense aromas of chocolate, cherries, dried plums graphite and truffles. Medium plus acidity and medium plus body, round, ripe, masculine and fully mature. A core of dried cherries, plum compote, red licorice, rosemary, black olives and smoke. The finish is long and lingers with black truffle.

Dark red with aromas of black and red fruits with big sweet toasty spices. On the palate sweet cherry, blackberry and dried currant flavors, with cacao and smoky tobacco notes and savory spices. Soft smooth tannins well balanced with acidity on a medium finish ending with earthy tones.

Aged for 15 months in oak, a classic blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara. Aromas of ripe berry fruits, floral and spicy oak. On the palate sweet ripe cherry and dried black currants with notes of tobacco and cinnamon. Fine tannins nice balance medium+ finish ending with sweet notes. Easy drinking.

Full bodied, rich with a mouthful of plum compote, black cherries, licorice and cigar box notes. The finish is crazy long with grippy tannins. This one has a long life ahead of it. #amarone #veneto #italianwine

Full body, medium acidity and soft tannins, well balanced, long finish ending with vanilla and pepper spice and a bit of warming alcohol. Drinks well now. Tasting Sample.
