So well presented on the nose and palate. Pure grapefruit nose, with tension and bright acidity on the mid-palate. Really nice honied sweetness balanced out pure Sancerre. I don’t detect any wood treatment, which enables the squeaky clean presentation to dominate.

Pale lemon, clean aromas of flint, gooseberry, grapefruit and lemon; on the palate, dry with high acidity and lush flavors of passion fruit, gooseberry and grapefruit. Long finish, excellent balance.

Denser palate expression, loads of fruit in a medium flavor intensity. This is all about a texture of viscous body versus tense acidity. Not your typical seashell Sancerre, curious about the soils. Usually kimmeridgian or chalkboard matbe more limestone with less chalk?
