I didn't love it as much as some others did but it was pretty nice for '05 Cali Pinot.

Lighter style, but still packed with fruit. Wished it had a little more clarity and definition.

Nov 18th, 2014Immediately get some ripe red fruit, baking spices like nutmeg, forrest floor, wet wood. The palate has silky and somewhat chalky tannins with acidity that hits the putter rims of the mouth. The baking spices are present, but with a bit less ripe red fruit. Maybe some white pepper creeps in towards the end. This is a good showing with a bit more time, but why wait. Doesn’t need a long decant.
