We are not worthy of this wine. Paired side-by-side with 2016 Walter Scott Bunker Hill. (Same vintage, same vineyard, different producers!) Drinks like a Burgundian Chardonnay. Wonderful reduction here lends itself to a touch of sulfur on the nose with a blend of melon and some tropical fruits. Great combo. Seems like plenty of malo action too - lovely balance of cream and minerals. Some vanilla, peach, and lots of citrus tang. We kept trying it and it kept changing. So much fun.

Really compelling. Powerful, complex, well integrated. Great citrus snap up front weaving in juicy orchard fruit, green herbs (is it chervil? I think it might be!) marine elements and finishes with a dollop of rich buttery lees

Melon, peach and lemon with a little oak and spice. Med body with a tangy zing of acidity.

Tasty chardonnay…almost between chablis and Rombauer. More oak than chablis but more acid/pucker than Rombauer.
