Wonderfully perfumed, the 2021 Chardonnay Bunker Hill opens with a cascade of dusty florals and sweet herbs, as flinty stone contrasts hints of white peach and sage. This is seductively round and textural with depths of sapid ripe stone fruits and liquid rock minerality. A lemony concentration lingers as the 2021 finishes long and lightly structured, leaving a minty freshness that punctuates the experience perfectly. The Bunker Hill is a real charmer. Solid wine - believe it was a Costco special: fragrant nose of red & black fruit, very ripe, verging on liqueur like, distinct minerality and earth tones. Med bodied, finely grained tannins, integrated acidity carrying flavors thru lingering finish. Excellent QPR — 5 months ago
Blend of 75% Touriga Nacional and 25% Touriga Franca, aged for 14 months in new French oak. deep Ruby with aromas of fresh dark berry flavors with herb, spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and plum with licorice, cedar, espresso and spicy herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cedar, spice and herb character. Will age well. — 4 months ago
My sister would rate it a 10 but she’s also drank most of the bottle so I’m gonna go with a 9.2 because she is generally reliable but ya know…wine! — 4 months ago
