Barra Vineyard Chardonnay

Funky nose. Almost a ciders quality to it. NSA. Tart on the palate. High acidity.

Greens, grays, and yellows with brown little specks. Smells like furry kiwi skin, coconut lip balm, and cinnamon spike lemon poppyseed cake.

Tangy pineapple farewell on the exit. Let this warm a bit to reach it’s full clotted cream textural potential.

Good

Tight and precise nose and palate full of orchard and citrus fruits. High acid with some matchstick reduction on the nose (which I am fond of).

A strong nose of lemons, with a hi t of tart minerality, this is a very unique Chardonnay. The flavor is bold, unfiltered lemon, with long lingering acidity, and a tartness that you don’t typically see in a Chardonnay. Definitely one of the few Chardonnay meant for chilling.

Ultra high acids. Lemon rinds. A ton of reduction here.
