Wow, a Sancerre for 12 dollars? Another Trader Joe's find, this wine fairs a little better than some of the other bargain bin renditions of well known wines. Sure, there isn't quite the complexity that most Sancerres have but it is still crisp, light and mineral driven. Definitely beats out many domestic Sauvignon Blancs.

Big QPR #sancerre - while less layered than fancier examples from the AOC, still that fine balance between crispness and more richness than you expect from #sauvignonblanc - I can envision this with a not-spicy crab fried rice.

Green apple, passionfruit and lemony notes on the nose. Bright acidity with more citrus flavors on the palette. Crisp, tart and refreshing.
