This is indeed an acquired taste but on a hot day with some souvlaki this is exactly what you need to cut through the fat

Light floral lightly piney. Small pour but nice acidity, rounded mouthfeel. Piney citric aftertaste

Perfectly poised with crisp acidy and fresh citric aromas in addition to a relatively subcell resin character. A great choice before a big plate of grilled lamb.

Like a sweet-ish Chardonnay with a Lemon Fresh Pledge Wipe in the bottle.

Strange; mineral, stone fruit; strong scent and flavor of resin and something close to mold

Supposedly tastes like the ancient roman and Georgian resinated wines... An acquired taste?

It's been a while since my last Retsina so I actually enjoyed this one.
Way more refined and less sappy (almost Jura-like?) than I remember this style of wine from Greece.

You can smell the sap as well tropical fruits and stones. The same on the pallet, a very different wine. I like it a lot and it's awesome with Mediterranean food! Wanted to have a Gyro with it but I chose Mediterranean pizza instead, fantastic!
