This wine is often described as meaty which could be a sign of Brett. None of this was evident, showing better than the grand echezeaux we sampled before. Earthy, bing cherries, salty, medium body. Quite a joy to drink now. Pure and refined.

Unbricked ruby. Freaking textbook nose of roses and spices, perfumed and delicate, sweet and inviting like a country maiden picking flowers. So, so Pinot. The palate is sweet, soft, inviting with pie cherries, macerated raspberries, cinnamon and a little wood spice. Good, not great, length. But exceedingly delicious. Wonderful, with a very light touch. (My wine.)
