Échézeaux Pinot Noir 2004

From magnum. Medium deep garnet . Lovely rose tinged nose , a bit earthy but delicate red fruit focused with lots of finesse . Not a big wine by any means but with lovely roundness and elegance . Soft rounded tannins and balanced acidity. Good length and energy. A real triumph for a much maligned vintage . Drink from now and over the next 10 years. — a month ago

A thoroughly enjoyable burg! Rich red fruit, subtle aromatics aside soft tannic structure even after an hours decant. This wine has many years left in your cellar before it begins to fade. — 2 months ago

Echézeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2015

I was surprised of the approachable nature of this Grand Crú at such a young age. It is fuller than most Burgundy. Still elegant but robust. Great recommendation from the Sommelier Steven Bono. Might have find this and lay down a few years. Excellent juice. — a month ago

Vieille Vigne Echezeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2015

Very pretty ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Medium-bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate and complex.

Showing red currants, cherries, earth, light oak, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee and black pepper.

Long finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a beautiful Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and rich.

This 9 year old from the great 2015 vintage is still young, and needs many years in the bottle to mature properly, but already drinking beautifully.

Would be nice to revisit it in 10 years, and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.

Very enjoyable and really yummy. A great wine to have all by itself, but good with food too.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses and had it by the pool.

93 points.

Grands-Echezeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2011

2011 vintage. Open (not decanted) and tasted after two hours. Fresh as a daisy. Tremendous power and finesse with a finish lasting over a minute. Insignificantly small amount of silty sediment. No rush to crush. Really gorgeous stuff. 12.8.23. — 3 months ago
