Wine 3 of our dinner with Jean Charles. Not a huge fan. I thought the Pinot was a bit thin and lacked any real complexity. Done in a Burgundian style with a nice fruit base but it lacked something. This wine is a blend of French and Cali grapes. 2012 vintage

Medium purple color. Half Pinot from CA the other half from Burgundy. Cranberry, moss and baking spices. Interesting Pinot for sure.

Cherry and sour cherry nose. Rich flavors of cherry, blackberry, and slightly tart berries with plenty of oak. Long finish. Tasty and complex.
