This was $14 by the glass and a total winner for that price. A touch sweet on the front and mid palate with candied almonds, cinnamon roasted cashews and honey suckle but the finish fell off pretty quick. Very little yeast, and pretty much zero chalk or limestone to it.

Classic in style, bringing aromatic white blossoms, almonds, and a great deal of minerality to the nose. Palate brings all the fruit, bruised apple, ripe pear and more white flowers. Great value, and a nice alternative to Champagne.

Excellent bubbly, just doesn't have the cache of the champagne designation. Vibrant and high pitched with lots of apples, biscuits and toast. For $15 a bottle, it's a no-brainer.
