The oak, malo and oxidation at first give the nose a sweet cheesecake aroma, decadent but quite surprising. A powerful and consistent bead of bubbles. After an hour it came together with some air perfectly, morphing into the low dosage beauty that it is.
736 is a blend of 53% Chardonnay, 29% Pinot Noir and 18% Pinot Meunier.

Fun fact: Johann-Joseph Krug, the founder of Krug, left house Jacquesson in 1843 to found the great Champagne house Krug.

Super brut! Lemon, Pear & White Peach notes. Aged in neutral oak for 3 years prior to bottling. Look forward to what it will taste like in 3-5 years!

Nice bubbly, lively, fresh, focused. Not nevessarily for food but good for other occasions
