First off, I've really missed Tuscan reds. Wow. And this one is no exception. Fruit forward with red and black fruits smacking you upside the head. But a beautiful complex finish rises from behind the fruit. My only problem with this wine? The nose has ever so little funk on it. Just doesn't quite match the brilliance of the flavors.

Plusher than I remember. I wanted more structure and complexity, the rest of the table sucked it down like mother's milk. So there you have it.

Big hand, or small bottle? Sour dried cherries, lavender candy, leather, fine textured, lip smacking tannin and acidity. 10% Syrah, hmm. Get me some bresaola.

Fantastic bargain chianti with generous inviting nose; seems more mature than its age with softer delicious tannins and not so dry complex finish.

Сырно-минерально, вишня и пластилин, воск, слива, асфальт. Во вкусе добавляются легкие хвойные и морковные тона. Послевкусие долгое. Суховато. 15.5/20 (86/100)

Half bottle with the roomies. Killer ripe cherries killer coffee to it, $14. Great wine, felt like rating this based on how good it is not for the deal. Other vintages I've had I've thought "hm maybe a little thin" not this. Vintage is a little heavier in style
