Menthol, mint , earth and savoury red fruits. Medium bodied palate - coats the mouth. From the fabulous 2016 vintage in Tuscany and it shows. Anyone who knows the region knows that this vintage was one of the best in recent times.

Tasted over 6 hours. Classic. One of the better Cepparello I have had, particularly with age. Classic Sangiovese with tart cherry, some plum, mint, and tertiary tobacco, with some floral and leather. Perfect acidity, mouthwatering, but the tannin could be a little more polished as they are a bit chewy and chalky at the moment. Med/med+ body, with a med+ finish. Very good and would buy more.
