Sourced from vines in Biancavilla, on Etna's southwest slope, and in Belpasso, on the southern slope between, aged in a combination of stainless steel and oak barrels, aromas of stone fruits, floral and nutty notes. On the palate flavors of peach, pear and apricot with slight citrus notes, honey, almonds and floral notes, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, nutty and honey character with saline mineral notes.

This was a bonus wine at a tasting - and a very nice surprise. Rich stone fruit with melon and pineapple that was completely dry with good minerality. Definitely worth a try when a richer white fits the bill — or if you’re just drinking without food!

Nice Sicilian Carricante starting with cream and finishing with citrus. Decant for at least an hour before consuming. Not as good as the top-notch Etna Biancos but still a nice wine.
