From Max Kogod. Tastes almost like a a burgundy. Plum components blackberries and mostly pomegranate. Very sturdy and great even after 18h! in an open glass. Earthy top notch tannins extremely well made. This will last for a long time 10 years+. Pricy 60$.

Salvo (and Simone) Foti's flagship red - Nerello Mascalese/Capuccio, and Alicante (Sicilian for Grenache), and rare varietal Francisis - all from a single vineyard with 100+ year old vines - this wine is still a baby but is already showing enticing red fruits, spice, and a little bit of lava funk that I think will shine through when I revisit around 2020. Thanks Simone!
