Clivi Galea Colli Orientali del Friuli Bianco Friulano

Medium gold. Nose is reticent and blooms on day two with some pastry cream to back up the citrus, lemon oil notes. A bit sharp with acid, which may be why it is alive, but doesn't have a lot of richness. Somewhat viscous, but feel a bit more structured by alc.

Nice honeyed feel going on. Good texture. Definitely not past it’s prime. But close.

Very happy this held up. Roasted almonds, bruised apples, and plenty of phenolic bitterness.
