Classic Riesling

It seems when you practice a trade for nearly 400 years you get pretty good at it.

Clean and racy. Lemongrass and bold streaks of citrus. Gimme some fried snapper or crab cakes.

Those who follow me know I rarely taste Riesling. It not too shabby, but not a first or second choice for me…

Pale lemon with pronounced stone fruit and citrus aromas. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with vivid acidity, minerality and spice. Medium finish ending dry with fresh fruit and a touch of stony mineral notes.

Laser focused, pure Riesling. Nice acid. Bone dry. Love.

classic. white flowers, mineral, slight petrol. Dry, mid + acidity but not stinging. food-friendly fresh and fruity.

Pairs well with delivered Chinese and one of the Bourdain shows on Netflix.

Crisp and balanced dry Alsatian Riesling, with a bit of weight and texture. A few minutes exposure to air and the classic petrol notes became apparent—fun! More interesting than a typical Pinot Grigio or lightweight Sauv Blanc. This 2021 vintage pairs wells with my chicken pot pie.

fresh, mineral, with medium acidity. on top of citrus note i can feel apple and stone. but “dupy nie urywa”. completely missing strong diesel flavor (i still remember a bottle of zilliken drank years ago). this one is nice for everydy glass.
