Jun 4th, 2018Nose of rose petals and neutral oak. Palate displays tart raspberries and high acidity. Needs food to calm it down. I would have expected something better from this winery.

Jun 2nd, 2018Beautiful on the nose: lychee, rose, tangerine, and violet. Flat on the palate, representative of the varietal though.

Jun 2nd, 2018Ruby red with pink hue. Fresh muddled strawberry and raspberry with stem attached to it. Hint of bubble gum, mint and tarragon on the nose. Med plus to high acidity, mineral, dry with med to med plus tannin. A food rose to enjoy with Mexican food such as chicken and beef tacos.

May 31st, 2018This Rosè is deep in color with fresh muddled strawberry, raspberry and mint; loved the racy acidity and the minerality, slightly tannic with hint of savory notes. A Rosè craving for food!!!

May 27th, 2018Interesting varietal, really cool strawberry note once the wine warms up, but not a good QPR, bought at $29 and I could list 10 other CA rosés under $20 that slay this bottle. It was an experience, we can now knock Grignolino off the list.

Jun 11th, 2017Bold. Crisp. Excellent warm up wine for the pre-dinner engagement.

Jun 11th, 2017Ordered the regular grignolino but got the rosé instead. Never had either so we went with it. Assuming it was not exactly a fortuitous mistake.

Jan 20th, 2017fun higher acid red wine for the summer, it always expresses flavors from what you would expect from a white wine. the 2014 has huge aromatics and finishes with key lime. nothing serious here just summer sipper

May 30th, 2016Vibrant cranberry, ruby red. Looks like cherry hard candy. Consistent concentration. Aromatic, fresh red fruit, strawberry, red cherry, mineral (talc). Light body, medium acid, light astringency, medium alcohol does not go unnoticed and warms the belly 12.5%. Balanced, medium finish, cherry dominant with a notable bite of amaro. Refreshing!
