This has a wonderful nose, but didn’t show as well as I expected. This finish was more tart than sweet. I don’t think cellaring will help here...

Awesome producer. Bad ass cans that don’t need food, but still drink great with it

Tawny almost opaque. Nice older wine, fruit forward nose. Silky fruit with dusty tannins. Nicely made wine, drinking well tonight.

Whoa. Delicate tannins. Beautiful oak. Nice acidity to balance the dark fruit. Unreal.

The fruit is gone., now it’s a Bordeaux! Good but no match for the 97 AV silver oak.

I assumed this would be fairly tight knit, but was pleasantly surprised. Poured really dark in the glass and was definitely a darker profile but there was an elegance to the finish. Blackberry, smoked cedar, dried herbs on the palate with a lavender type finish. Paired well with 2” thick prime cut bacon at Fort Worth’s newest steakhouse. 👌

Fan of oakville fruit. Big, round, dry. Well made, but think it needs some time in the bottle for real character to show.

After all day being a tannic monster...
Roast coffee on the nose, dry earth, extraordinary concentration.

Good, but just tastes like Napa cab. I expect more for a $50 bottle. Silky and smooth however - not as rich as I thought It'd be. More of an Alexander valley style honestly.
