An interesting dry red from Greece. Deep red with aromas of red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate flavors of simple red fruits, cinnamon spice, vivid acidity on firm tannins. Medium finish ending with fruit and spice adding in a mineral character.

Upon first open its peppery, which goes away with air. Very plummy, red fruit and a modest amount of concentration. This wine needs food to shine but is pretty tasty on its own.

Dried fruits (raspberry, cherry), herbs, very spice driven (clove, cinnamon, mace), light-medium bodied, med-acidity. W/mild sausage and garlic mashed potatoes, doing the trick :)

Nose: Grandma's closet
Color: deep ruby red
Taste: front is zero, with a midpalate of dryness and angry fruit. Lower thy expectations, oh wine wanderer, and enjoy.

Good flavor profile but a little light. Was good with grilled lamb and light enough to pair with the grilled lemon chicken

My first Greek wine and my first Greek varietal: Agiorgitiko.
Reminiscent of Italian grapes like sangiovese or barolo.
Fresh and earthy, sour even, on the nose and palate.

There's a characteristic to the finish adding saltiness or maybe sourness which is standing out to me.
Likely better if chilled to 60F.
