The 2018 Barbaresco Rabajà expresses all of its classicism and nuance in an ethereal, nervy style that is going to need at least a few years in bottle to unwind. Readers will notice a Rabajà that is more finesse than muscle, the direction these wines have trended in over the last few years. Dusty tannins are kept in check with a beautiful aroma of crushed rock, dried purple flowers, potpourri and tart crunchy red fruit. this is a serious wine that opens up in the glass over an hour or two

In lovely shape, with aromas of dried flowers dried cherries, and a touch of licorice. In the mouth, plum, red apple skin, strawberry jam and wet redwood bark have a wonderful supple tannic backbone. A touch of sour cherry lingers in the finish. Very pretty.
