Austere in a good way for Barbera. I guess I should’ve expected it from this producer? Strong acidity and tannin holding the fruit up very well indeed.

Dried flowers, ripe dark cherries, and dusty tannins. Great pairing with the delicious beef ragout pasta and grilled pork chops.

重厚な、これぞ赤。ピエモンテ。
