Elegant with age

Unami, crush blackberry and cherry, spice box and American Spirit like tobacco. Needed 45 mins to open but perfect now.

2010 Barolo Riserva

Excellent example. Enjoying this. Great structure and sense of place. Sweet attack on the mid-palette. Tannins reverberate and are vibrant. Finishes with bitter cherry.

Nebbiolo lushness. Aromatic and intense. Love it.

Italian herb

Very interesting. The floral notes are quite strong with a slight tannic finish. One of the better bottles I’ve had in awhile.

Exceeded expectations. Given vintage, and style of Corino winemaking, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But this bottle came through. After a long decant, showed impressive typicity, clarity of fruit, balanced oak, fine tanin, nice finish. Glad I have 2 more.

Fruit was singing, tannins still biting. Still needs time...
