Apr 17th, 2017Surprisingly dark for a Beaujolais. Light, but good red fruit flavors. Smooth and light mouthfeel. Probably a year or two past prime, but still good. Drank with Elissa's grandma's Italian chicken. Not perfect pair, but the wine stood up to the herbs and spices.

Feb 9th, 2015Really like this wine. Smooths out after giving it a little breathing room. Mostly dark fruits on the nose with some strawberries and cherries contributing variety and a modicum of freshness. Compact on the palate with a delightful acidity that gives it a pleasing bite. Very mild tannins contribute to a greater depth than I generally associate with Beaujolais. A great summertime red: not too heavy, but it has very satisfying intensity and character.
