Red fruit and lead pencil. Outstanding

Huge wine with massive power and structure and tannins that just rip your face off. After an advance 5 hour decent the wine begins to show itself beautifully with dried violets and tar, red cherries, dried prune, exotic spices and just the right about of earth integration. The wine finishes superbly long and silky with fine acidity.

Wow. A blast of soft plush fruit- cherry, blackcurrant, mocha, sexy opulent and open. Almost merlot like texture and suppleness but all resolved- very pretty. Plum and delicate red fruit. Very seductive and open. Lovely stuff.

Delish, still fairly young but opened nicely after 1-2 hours.

Vintage 1982 - Elegance and finesse in this #barbaresco. Lightly build. Rich smell. A combination of fruit and minerals. Archetypical #barbaresco with long aftertaste.
