From half bottle. Deep gold with a tan rim. Nose is muted, oxidative, lacking fruit. Mouth is fleshy, viscous, dry, acid medium low, alcohol medium plus. There is a hint of dried mint/resinous herbs in the retro nasal aromas, the only hint of Gruner's herbal.snap for me. Probably past maturity, due to size(?)

Loved this over several nights, exuberant and exotic with zip and phenolics to hold everything up. Apricot, pineapple, racing citrus notes, mushrooms, candied ginger, saffron, white tea, herbs.
