Fess Parker
Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir
Coastal influence, diatomaceous soils. Briny salinity is noticeable on this one, coupled with bright fruit (black Cherry and cola). Traditionally styled PN. Delicious.

On the palate cherry and tart strawberry flavors with a touch of vanilla and pepper spice. Well balanced with nice acidity. Medium finish that was very pleasant. Tasting Sample.

Oct 17th, 2016Fresh and energetic. Give it some breathing time to shake off that false effervescence. 14.3% on the alc. but well balanced with pronounced fruit and acid. Blackberry, black cherry, and savory umami character. Entirely refreshing.

Feb 11th, 2016Surprisingly nice balance between restrained (but still new world) fruit and earth, forest floor and funk. Liked this more than I would have expected.
