Vintage 2015 | Brown rim. I gave the wine four hours in the decanter. True to type Sangiovese smell with spices, minerals. The taste still has tannins, I think this is a wine for the long term though it is definitely drinking well now. Well balanced. Paired with mushroom ragout and a bread filled with cheese and tomatoes.

Candied raspberry and a hint of non-acetone nail polish remover on the nose, surprisingly brambley and woody/olive pit upfront given the nose, but nice rich plum and other fruits come through as well. Medium color and body, solid tannins but finish is a bit tannic for me.
