One of my favorites in a flight of 12 Willamette Valley Single Vineyard and Reserve wines from 2012. Nice job Elk Cove!

Great Pinot noir. Delicate raspberry, leather, pepper and plum flavors permeate throughout. Rich nose and finish.

More Oregon Pinot tasting! Delicious, velvety red with juicy red fruit and integrated soft tannin. Smooth acidity. 2012 was a hotter vintage with less rain at harvest, yielding fuller, sweeter grapes.
