Incredibly sous bois on the nose - layers of cedar, pine needle, and moss/mould. Herbal and resinous. Driven by bright fruit on the palate - raspberry and dark cherry - with underlying resin and tar notes. Structured but not overwhelming tannins. — 6 years ago
Eminently chuggable. Great integrated tannins, nice acid and fruity varietal notes of red + black berry fruit and dark plum. Not a wine for aging, but definitely a wine to be enjoyed ASAP. — 6 years ago

Crushed rose petal, nuts, bruised apples, honey. Like having a picnic in a field of grass and wildflowers. Pretty af. — 6 years ago
Delicious Xinomavro blend. Drinks like a Cab Franc/Cab Sauv blend. Plenty of delicious ripe fruit up front, followed with pyrazine and tannic character with a medium + finish. Probably not very ageable, but delightful drinking now. — 6 years ago
Incredible value CDR. Raspberries, juicy fruit, crushed violets, and iron. Not too complex, but incredible value. — 6 years ago

Very volatile on bottle open. Splash decanted it and left it to come up to temperature and it opened up nicely to pretty + assertive notes of apricot, orange rind, honeysuckle and walnut. Slight tannic grip. Definite bitter component. Quite unstable - came to it the next day and it had fallen apart. — 6 years ago
First ever Canary Islands wine for me - Ycoden-Daute-Isora from Tenerife! Definite Brett taint, though slight enough to still be enjoyable. Refreshingly high acid, w cranberries, churned earth, mole & charred spice notes. Volcanic minerality. Probably could have chilled it slightly. — 6 years ago
