Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Rosé

Hello everyone! It is Friday night and I have opened the 2019 Elk Cove Vinyards Willamette Valley Estate Pinot Noir Rosé.

On the nose I am receiving notes of strawberry, cherry,red raspberry, tangerine peel, red currant, nice floral notes and minerality.

On the palate there is strawberry, cherry, red raspberry, spice, earthy notes and minerality.

This wine is medium bodied with a beautiful pink color and medium + acidity with medium fine tannins which brings you right into a medium to long fresh fruit finish. Roughly 1000 cases made. Whole cluster. Stainless. Bright with high acid.

My favorite vintage of this wine to date. Fresh, bright, lively, Spring and Summer wine. The contents within pull a fast disappearing act.

Still a terrific Pinot rosé, and an extraordinary bargain.

Quite good, minerality and herbal notes and taste, some strawberry or raspberry notes too, but leans more towards mineral and savory in my mouth. Medium acidity and body.

Discovered at a store tasting. Crisp acidity with fresh fruits and minerals. A nice rose to add to the favorites.

Easy drinking rose.

Refreshingly tart and fruity, everything I like in a pinot noir rose.

Not bad felt watery very pink low mineral lighter taste than the look.. tart
