Intense and perfumed. Plum sauce, Darjeeling tea, sandalwood, candied violets. Tremendous tannin met by bracing acid. Truly lovely.

Rich and robust, with a dashing nose exploding with violets, tar and purple fruit. This is very barolo-esque, with plenty of size, but also a sublime mineral elegance, layered spicy finish, grippy but refined tannins and hardly noticeable wood influence. One of the better aglianicos I've had no doubt! 2011 vintage.

Fascinating Aglianico. Brambly, almost raisined fruit. White pepper. Bit of a cool climate Syrah thing going on. Rich, ripe, alcoholic, massively tannic, but all elements working in harmony.

Aromatic. Roses and spice. Raspberry, strawberry. White pepper and exotic fruit. Love the nose! M/m+ acid. M body and front tannin. Almost jammy fruit, saline and minerality. Beautiful, elegant. Has a leanness. Balanced. Just wonderful.
