Coffee beans waiting to be tossed into a grinder. Light and elegant. Easy drinking on its own.

Well made CF from Argentina, nose a bit spicy with black current, black pepper, plum, mint, well rounded medium to full body, good tannins and acidity.delicious mid finish. My score 88, drink to 2020

Amazing Cab Franc for the 💵! Serious structure, blackberry compote, herbal notes, and a texture that is a little dirty due to round but youthful tannins.

Originally tasted at Lambertville Station. Liked it so much I had to buy a case. We love cab francs and this is an excellent example from Argentina. Once opened, lots of tarry notes with mocha and that classic cab franc pepper on the back.

1 person found it helpfulApr 10th, 2020Interesting Cab Franc from Mendoza, not a region that is typically known for single varietal Cabernet Franc. On the nose there is red fruit but not much else, on the palette there is red fruit, dark cherry specifically, nice tannic backbone, and a pleasant spice characteristic. This isn’t a bad wine, it just seems like it is missing something. Fed in to the hype, wasn’t rewarded.

2011 vintage. "The Enemy" is a friend of mine. Pours the most beautiful dark purple hue. Berry fruit becomes very apparent after opening up. Great structure and balance.
