Brilliant. Disgorged July 2019. Powerful & generous paired up with a savory roasted tomato sauce and kept getting better through the meal. A hint of anise on the nose adds complexity and this is texturally finessed & elegant. A great balance to the powerful fruit. Finish is fresh and the wine is irresistible.

2016 base; disgorged July 2021. Egly always delivers and this is stupid good for entry grand cru. Highly aromatic, vinous in the best possible way. Pinot shines through. Fabulous texture & finish.

base vintage 2016, 4 years on lees, 1 g dosage but considered only brut. Austere w nervosité, needs more time, more about structure than fruit. Very chalky.
