Durigutti
Mendoza Cabernet Franc
Super crushable with Persian inspired, grilled lamb kebab, eggplant spread, yogurt sauce and grilled tomatoes. Just the right balance of acid, density, and fruit.

Nov 22nd, 2018Robbing the cradle I know, yet have to taste when I grab a trinity.
Smells like roasted animal fat (as a Pescatarian, the same qualities are very similar) and old socks.
Tastes of olive oil (Animal fat) Herbs de Provence, leather, Tabac.
This finishes with medium tannin/acid mouthfeel.
This is a nice Cab Franc. South America shines!

Nice peppery after taste, smooth and affordable.

This wine is the result of combined styles of 2 Argentine winemakers, Pablo and Hector. Durigutti. The treatment of this wine was minimal in order to preserve the natural intensity of the fruit. It has neither been cold stabilized, filtered nor fined. As a result, it may contain light deposits. Decant if necessary.

Beautiful color of light ruby with a light burgundy rim.
Gentle nose of sweet raspberries, earth, blueberries, plums, cherries, licorice, oak, metals, nail polish remover, light black pepper and green pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, red currants, oak, pomegranate, vanilla, licorice, green vegetables, bell pepper, earth, forest floor, black pepper and spices.
Short finish with angular tannins and black pepper.
A nice Cabernet Franc from Argentina. My first one, actually.
Light Gentle mouth feel on the mid palate, until the tannins kick in.
Interesting with nice complexity, but not too much... 😃
Made with minimal intrusion, and it is unfined and Unfiltered.
14% alcohol by volume.

Fruity aromas of blackberry and cherry with leather and cedar. Smooth black fruits and mocha finish. Still firm tannins that give me hope for the next bottle I'll open more than 16 months from now. (That's when we'll be back from our RTW trip.) Follow our travel adventures on peripateticcouple.com

Nov 21st, 2015Tobacco, leather black fruits, and hints of soy sauce. An extra year made a big difference. Still firm tannins but much more integrated. Could still age for another year or two. I have two more bottle so I'll get to wait and see.
