Cabernet Franc
This wine is the result of combined styles of 2 Argentine winemakers, Pablo and Hector. Durigutti. The treatment of this wine was minimal in order to preserve the natural intensity of the fruit. It has neither been cold stabilized, filtered nor fined. As a result, it may contain light deposits. Decant if necessary.

Fruity aromas of blackberry and cherry with leather and cedar. Smooth black fruits and mocha finish. Still firm tannins that give me hope for the next bottle I'll open more than 16 months from now. (That's when we'll be back from our RTW trip.) Follow our travel adventures on peripateticcouple.com

Tobacco, leather black fruits, and hints of soy sauce. An extra year made a big difference. Still firm tannins but much more integrated. Could still age for another year or two. I have two more bottle so I'll get to wait and see.

Nice! Aromas of ripe plums, tobacco and pencil shavings. Chewy flavors of black and blue fruit. Absolutely no green pepper, which I dislike. Long tannic finish. Could use some bottle age.

An excellent wine for the money. Subtle aroma of licorice and leather. Strong fruit with that light leathery finish.

Nice blend of fruit and tannins with that gamieness characteristic of cab franc.

Great value at under $15. Notes of leather, pepper and soil. Dry with medium tannins on the finish. Paired awesome with a grilled ribeye and garlic ontoy.

Beautiful color of light ruby with a light burgundy rim.

Gentle nose of sweet raspberries, earth, blueberries, plums, cherries, licorice, oak, metals, nail polish remover, light black pepper and green pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, red currants, oak, pomegranate, vanilla, licorice, green vegetables, bell pepper, earth, forest floor, black pepper and spices.

Short finish with angular tannins and black pepper.

A nice Cabernet Franc from Argentina. My first one, actually.
Light Gentle mouth feel on the mid palate, until the tannins kick in.
Interesting with nice complexity, but not too much... 😃

Made with minimal intrusion, and it is unfined and Unfiltered.

14% alcohol by volume.

This is simply remarkable. If you didn't know it, the nose would automatically signal Napa cab. This is a stunning cab franc that is blowing my mind right now. The nose is deep, black plum and blackberry sitting in an old leather workboot. The palate is full bodied, yet easy at the same time. The beginning and mid palate are both fairly thin and smooth, but it finishes with blackberry goodness. This is just brilliant.
