Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, spice, biscuit and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and apricot with citrus, biscuit, honeysuckle and nutty notes. Smooth, long finish, well balanced with savory acidity, ending with fruit and yeasty mineral character. Nice!

I love Heintz vineyard chards. Like Ritchie (but opposite side of the spectrum) they are supremely identifiable. The nose on this was nothing like most Heintz chards...it was large and in charge. Almost like an Aubert with the sweet lemon and vanilla notes. However, the palate was more aligned with what I expected. Guava, mango and an acidic backbone to carry the finish. This is a really nice chard, just simply different than most Heintz chards.

I think this bottle has been opened at the near perfect time. Winemaker suggests enjoying summer 2017, and we're almost there. I would like to try this textured Chardonnay in one more year to taste how it progresses.

2020 vintage. Lean and mean and mineralesque. Light-medium body. Will try to double park a bottle of this and excavate in 7-8 years. Beautiful example of this style. 4.13.23.

Stunning! Meyer lemon, apple, honeysuckle. This is what California Chardonnay should be!

Funky aroma, like blue cheese & wet towel. Tangy banana, yeast, cheese, buttered bread, & smooth oak. Medium-minus acidity. Creamy finish. Interesting.

Ripe orchard fruit edging on tropical, round, moderate oak. Very good but not a rebuy for me at the price
