Wow. This is the sine qua non of Oregon pinot. Intoxicatingly spiced red fruit on the nose. Seamless and bright on the palate, but with great peppery/spicy depth to the fruit. It is amazing how the 2012 Oregon pinots show very little age despite now being 8 years past the vintage date.
