'Tancredi' Dolce & Gabbana Edizione Limitata Terre Siciliane Nero d'Avola Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage 2020 | the best wine in a Donnafugata tasting. Blend of Nero d’Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon. Infanticide said my neighbour at the wine tasting. True, this is going to be much better. But I like the sultry smell now, cherries, and lovely bitters in taste.

I was quite surprise to find the wine very good to be honest

U might even collect it rather than drink it

The wine is very dark. The nose is quite expressive, with bright blackberry and blueberry aromas drifting in and out of oak spice and wonderful notes of licorice, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. On the palate, dark fruit bursts forth, with notes of tobacco, spice and earth playing supporting roles.

Surprisingly tasty. Dried berries, some tobacco, med rustic-ish tannins.

Deep ruby color. Aromas of roasted red pepper, roasted herbs, black olive.
Dry. Flavors of black olive, tomato leaf, roasted rosemary, peppercorn. Rich, chewy tannins.

Oak, cherry, eucalyptus, and leather. Dry and herbal.
